An evening in honor to Righteous Among the Nations, Mr. Chiune Sugihara 8.6.2016 Cultural events
Chamber of Commerce and Friendship Society Israel-Japan had a rare opportunity to host Mr. Nobuki Sugihara, Son of Japanese Righteous Among the Nations, Mr. Chiuna Sugihara. The evening was dedicated to the activities of his father for the sake of rescuing Jews during World War 2. Over a hundred guests arrived to the evening in order to honor the memory of Mr. Sugihara. Including the former Chief Rabbi of Israel's, current chief rabbi of Tel Aviv, Rabbi Israel Meir Lau, Mr. Berl Shor, Holocaust survivor saved by Sugihara and other distinguished guests.
