Ilona Plot is an Israeli illustrator and artist specializing in work inspired by Japanese culture. She holds a B.Des. in Visual Communication from Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art, with a specialization in illustration.
Through her artistic practice, Ilona works to strengthen the connection between Japanese and Israeli culture. Her work explores traditional Japan, particularly Noh masks, which she reinterprets through contemporary illustration, creating a dialogue between Japanese and Israeli identities.
As an active member of the Israeli–Japanese community and participant in various cultural events, she contributes to cultural exchange and the mutual understanding between the two cultures.
